THE MACHINE: Assembly does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or use personal data for advertising or tracking.
Game progress, preferences, discoveries, and run state are stored locally on the device. THE MACHINE does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple’s own privacy practices. THE MACHINE reads verified App Store entitlement status only to determine whether the full game is unlocked.
Using RESET GAME DATA erases THE MACHINE’s app-owned local progress and preferences. It does not alter App Store purchase records, which remain managed by Apple and can be checked with RESTORE PURCHASE.
